Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using ClipBolt, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our app or services.

These terms form a legal agreement between you and ClipBolt. We may update them at any time, with notice in the app or on our website.

ClipBolt gives you a limited license to use the app for personal or business purposes under these terms. The license is non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable: others may use the app, you cannot transfer the license, and it can be withdrawn.

You may:

• Install and use ClipBolt on devices you own or control
• Use all features available under your license type (free or premium)
• Make a reasonable number of copies for backup purposes

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
• Use the application for illegal purposes
• Redistribute or sell access to ClipBolt

Some ClipBolt features may require an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep access to your sign-in email account secure
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in fraudulent or harmful activities.

ClipBolt may offer free and premium subscription options. If a paid plan is offered and you choose to subscribe:

• Fees are charged in advance, monthly or annually.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Refunds follow the applicable platform's refund policy, such as the App Store or Google Play.
• Prices may change, with notice before your next billing cycle.

If you subscribe to premium features, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.

You own the content you store in ClipBolt. We do not claim ownership of your clipboard contents. You give ClipBolt a limited license to process your content as needed to provide the functions you use.

Your clipboard history is stored on your device. If you sign in, it syncs to ClipBolt's servers. If you allow AI features, the content you use them on is sent to OpenAI or Google Cloud Vision, and automatic tagging sends new captures to OpenAI until you turn it off.

Copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws protect ClipBolt, including its logo, code, design, and features:

• The ClipBolt name and logo are trademarks of our company.
• All software, visual elements, and documentation are our copyrighted property.
• Third-party components in the app belong to their respective owners.

You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission, except where these terms expressly allow it.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• ClipBolt is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
• Our maximum liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or limits on liability. Some of the limits above may therefore not apply to you.

We reserve the right to:

• Change or discontinue ClipBolt at any time
• Update these terms with notice to users
• Suspend or terminate access to our services for violations of these terms

When access is terminated, all license rights end. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect.
